Energy Healing With Crystals

Energy Healing With Crystals

People have used crystals for energy healing for thousands of years. These gorgeous treasures that come straight from the earth are filled with elemental energy. They hold a lot of power, helping you channel your intentions and elevate your internal vibrations.

Crystals have an unchanging energy frequency due to their perfect geometric molecular pattern. However, as humans, our energy frequency changes, well, frequently. We are so susceptible to our environment, what we hear on the news, what memories come up for us, and other things like the weather. The powerful energy that comes from crystals can help stabilize our energy and guide us into states of being that are better for us.

Here at Eartha, we believe in a holistic approach to wellness. Crystal healing and star signs are just some of the ways you can connect with your inner self.

Why you need water bottles in your energy healing session

Energy Healing with Crystals to clear your Charkras

When you undertake an energy healing session with crystals, connecting yourself with the crystals via water can be a good place to start.

Clean your crystals first with water. Then, mindfully hold your water bottle and set an intention. What do you want to come out of this energy healing? Take a drink of water and sit with the feeling of water circulating through your body.

Not only have you and your crystals connected and begun your cleansing with water, but you have also now ensured that you are well-hydrated for your session.

How you can use crystals to clear your chakras

Each colour in your crystal has a specific wavelength frequency that corresponds to each of your seven chakras. For example, red (the slowest wavelength) aligns with the low frequency of your root chakra.

You could either embark on a session where you awaken each of your chakras or focus on one that feels like it needs more attention. Perhaps you want to help stabilize your digestion or elevate your sense of personal willpower; then you could meditate on your solar plexus chakra specifically.

If you’re not sure what you want to focus on, you can choose whichever crystal you are most drawn to at the time. Trust your intuition.

The Seven Chakras

The Seven Chakras

Your seven chakras are the energetic centres in your body. They connect with different bodily organs and functions of the mind and spirit. You can also attune your chakras through yoga.

As you move up the chakras, you go from more base fundamentals such as your safety and physical wellbeing to higher levels of emotional and cognitive depth such as how you experience joy and express creativity.

Each chakra is equally as important as the next. Often, you can’t work on a higher level chakra if your lower chakras are not aligned. When you use crystals, you can help yourself find balance among all your chakras.

The seven chakras and their corresponding crystals are:

Muladhara (Root chakra)

Associated with the colour red, your connection to the earth and your physical safety. Your root chakra is located in your perineum. Tourmaline, red coral, mahogany, and obsidian correspond with the root chakra.

Swadisthana (Sacral chakra)

This is the life force that is what makes us human beings. The sacral chakra is associated with the colour orange and is located in your lower abdomen. Use orange carnelian, golden tiger’s eye, and stilbite.

Manipura (Solar plexus chakra)

The solar plexus chakra is associated with the colour yellow and is thought of as your source of internal wisdom and personal power. Find this chakra in your stomach. To work on your Manipura chakra, use citrine, topaz, amber, or heliolite.

Anahata (Heart chakra)

Green is the colour of the Anahata chakra, and it is the point that connects the physical world with the spiritual. As the name gives away, your heart chakra is in the centre of your heart. It is where you find love for yourself and others. Look for green agate, green opal or amazonite.

Vishuddha (Throat chakra)

The means by which you speak your truth and connect with the world, the throat chakra is associated with the colour blue. It is also your centre of creativity. Meditate with turquoise, blue lace agate or aquamarine.

Ajna (Third eye chakra)

Your third eye is what you use to connect with your intuition and anything beyond the material world. It is located in the centre of your forehead and is associated with the colour purple or indigo. Use lapiz lazuli, angelite or amethyst.

Sahastrara (Crown chakra)

Located at the top of your head, your crown chakra is your connection to all that is - your consciousness. It is sometimes associated with the colour violet and sometimes just with white. Use sapphires, quartz or rainbow moonstone to connect to your crown chakra.
