What to Expect:

🧘🏽‍♀️✨ Yoga - in Depth Workshop with Lucy

We will flow through a vinyasa yoga practice, designed to open the body and quiet the mind. You'll also dive deep into key asanas, learning about proper alignment, form, and breathwork. Yoga has been shown to reduce stress, increase flexibility, and promote mental clarity—a perfect start to your journey of self-connection. We’ll cater to all levels, offering modifications for both beginners and advanced practitioners.

🪐🎶 Soundbath - Heal with Hanna 

A Journey Into Deep Relaxation and Inner Harmony. Immerse yourself in a soothing Self-Care Soundbath with Hanna, where you’ll journey inward, guided by the tranquil tones of healing instruments. This deeply meditative session is designed to help you release tension, restore balance, and connect with your inner self through the power of sound healing. As you lie back and absorb the gentle vibrations, you’ll feel layers of stress melt away, leaving you grounded, centered, and rejuvenated. Ideal for anyone seeking peace, clarity, and a sense of renewal, this experience will harmonise your body and mind in ways words cannot capture.

🌸🧚🏽‍♀️ Spring Candle, Tealight Holder & Trinket Dish Workshop

Get the creative fairytale vibes flowing - with the lovely guidance of Jane we will use pretty pressed flowers to decorate a tall candle, tea light holder and trinket dish - the perfect Spring touches for your home. Let your imagination bloom as you design delicate, nature-inspired pieces that capture the beauty of the season. Whether you're crafting for yourself or creating heartfelt gifts, this workshop is a magical way to welcome in the light and energy of Spring.

🧘🏽‍♀️ 11:45 - 1:00PM: Vinyasa Yoga Session & Asana Workshop with Lucy, we will dive deeper into key yoga asana, and work on building up to more challenging asana (in a super fun, friendly, safe environment, suitable for complete beginners!)

🧚‍♀️ 1:30 - 2:00PM: Nature Walk & Mandala Ritual - collect treasures from Mother Earth to give gratitude to her and each other, release what no longer serves us in flames of love

❤️‍🩹2:00 - 3:00PM: Self-Care Soundbath Session with Hanna, bask in the dreamy healing frequencies of a south bath proven to help ease into deep relaxation, heal DNA and release stress

🧚🏽‍♀️ 3:00 - 5:30PM: Spring craft workshop with Jan (fizz - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options!) get your creative juices flowing and make your spring decorations with beautiful divine flowers. These decorations look absolutely beautiful in your home, bringing a sweet floral tint for Spring. All materials and instructions will be provided by the lovely Jane.  

What to bring:

A group journaling and self-care session with Hanna. Join us for a transformative experience as we connect to our inner selves through guided journaling and self-care practices. This session is designed to help you dive deeper into what self-care truly means for you, exploring both its physical and emotional dimensions.

You’ll engage in reflective writing exercises that encourage you to identify your unique needs and desires, allowing for a greater understanding of how to nurture yourself holistically. Whether you’re looking to enhance your daily routines or seeking profound change, this intimate gathering will provide the tools and insights you need to cultivate a sustainable self-care practice that resonates with your lifestyle.

Wreath Making (27th Oct SOLD OUT):

Get creative with wreath making! Embrace your artistic side as we gather to create beautiful door wreaths, perfect for welcoming the festive season. This hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of crafting your own unique wreath, using natural materials and seasonal embellishments. As you weave together greenery, ribbons, and personal touches, you’ll not only be making a lovely decoration for your home but also infusing it with your own creativity and joy. This activity is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow retreat participants, share laughter, and spread the festive cheer. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a stunning wreath that reflects your personality and spirit, ready to adorn your doorstep and warm the hearts of all who visit.

Walk & (optional!) Cold Plunge (29th Sept SOLD OUT - Riverhouse Hotel):
Next, we will explore the stunning Yorkshire landscape with a walk to Janets Foss. Feel your connection to nature as we walk, allowing time to take in the peaceful surroundings.

Janet's Foss is a beautiful waterfall formed by Gordale Beck, a small stream that tumbles over a limestone outcrop into a tranquil plunge pool surrounded by lush greenery and moss-covered rocks. The name "Foss" comes from the Old Norse word for waterfall, reflecting Viking heritage. The site is steeped in local folklore. According to legend, Janet (or Jennet) was believed to be a fairy queen who lived in a cave behind the waterfall.

At Janet's Foss, you’ll have the option to brave an exhilarating cold plunge. Cold-water immersion has been scientifically proven to boost immunity, improve circulation, and enhance mental resilience—leaving you feeling energized and refreshed. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit!

Paint & Sip (29th Sept SOLD OUT - Riverhouse Hotel):
Let your creativity flow with our Paint & Sip session, where you’ll learn painting techniques and capture the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales on canvas. Painting has been shown to have therapeutic benefits, reducing anxiety and promoting mindfulness. We'll provide all the materials, as well as a glass of fizz to sip on while you paint. Take home your masterpiece as a beautiful reminder of your day.

Amazing!!

What a beautiful wholesome Sunday!!! From start to finish the whole day was so special & I couldn’t recommend it more.

The Yoga by Lucy was incredible, she is so amazing and a great teacher. She made us feel very comfortable as beginners and supported us when we needed it. She has inspired me to take up Yoga as I enjoyed it so much 🧘‍♀️ ✨

The sound bath by Hannah was just a dream. Such an amazing experience to feel the vibrations of sound & it really helped me to relax 🥰

Followed by the crafts by Jane which was a lovely end to the day. We made some beautiful flower wreaths which I will treasure!! 🌸🌺

Not to forget all the added extras including a delicious food spread, a lovely walk foraging and also a mandala ritual ✨

Couldn’t thank the girls enough & I will definitely be booking on again!!!

A real (re)treat!

It was such a soul-nourishing day with Lucy and team! Malhamdale chapel was a gorgeous space to facilitate an extra spiritual yoga session. Lucy was supportive, kind and encouraging, catering to all levels and abilities...A chance to deepen your own practice and a wonderful "work-in"!
The sound bath with Hanna was beautifully restorative, and the crafts session with Jane was a fun way to get festively creative ahead of the holiday season. In a (chest)nutshell, the most wonderful winter wellness day with the loveliest group of yogis! 😊✨

Incredible!!!

I had the most amazing (even life changing) day at Lucys yoga retreat. She had thought of it all and more. I felt so relaxed, welcomed and pampered throughout the whole day. From arriving I instantly felt like part of the group, and I was amazed at how well looked after we were all day. You feel like part of a unit. I loved all of the little extra touches too. I honestly felt like a queen! I left the day feeling rejuvenated- better than any spa day I have ever been on and my brain had a good rest. What an amazing thing you have created! What a day! So happy I spent the time, money and energy on the retreat days. Absolutely loved it from start to finish. It’s fantastically organised and conducted by Lucy and co-hosts. I love the focus on yoga and practices we get to do. Each time I’ve come away feeling like I’ve made new friends, had a day well spent and a new burst of happiness and enjoyment to take forward until the next time! Wreath making yoga retreat

Amazing day with a yoga flow and inversions with Lucy. Work to your own ability, but push your boundaries. A relaxing soundbath with Hannah, gentle walk around Malham and wreath making, all held in the lovely Riverhouse B&B, nibbles and drinks. Wonderful way to relax and spend a day . Loved it and wouldn't hesitate in recommending.
